New-Do

Today Paige found the haircutting scissors (hers are on top of
the fridge due to her last craft project of mutilating socks),
and she took a chunk out of one pigtail and cut her little wispy
hairs on the side into bangs. Needless to say she got a new
haircut from me tonight. I wasn't all that mad because I have
been trying to get her to let me cut it.

This picture was taken on Monday, yes, we still have way too
much snow out here. It never seems to melt where it drifted
from all the wind. We shoveled some of it away and found a
great way of letting both babies swing in our only baby swing!

Easter Sunday at the Ashcroft's

We had a very fun and eventful weekend. It was all topped off with the stomach flu last night. After we got back from my mom's Owen began puking, then about midnight Anna joined in, and finally at 3:00am Paige started. Luckily I laid blankets out all over her floor just in case and I didn't have any barf on the carpet. It was a really bad night, but Tyler stayed home from work today to help and to get some rest. We took turns napping and it turned out it was only a 12 hour bug because there was no throwing up the rest of the day. But sorry to you Meg, hope we didn't spread the love to Xander.

Be prepared, there are a lot of pictures!

Good food, that Owen would never miss
out on with help from Uncle Mitch.

Swinging with Grandpa.

Tyler doing some tree climbing.

And of course hunting for eggs.

Easter Saturday at the Godfrey's

Up to the elbows in bubbles, bubbles, bubbles.

Owen and Anna playing in Grandma's lid drawer.

Weston and Grayson enjoying some fried chicken.

Grandpa showing us how kite flying is done with no wind--turns out
Easter Saturday is the only day there is no wind in Clarkston.

Weston watching Brenan play video games in
between eating Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs.

Dyeing Eggs

Weston and Paige got to dye eggs on Saturday and again on Sunday, they both loved doing it this year. Check out the tie-dye method that Uncle Mitch remembered from when we were kids.

More dyeing, and there was also plenty of spilling, my mom's
counter looked tie-dyed by the time we were done.

Princess Paige

On Friday we went with my sisters-in-law and Paige's cousins to Disney on Ice. I had never been before, but loved it. Their costumes were so great and it kept her interest for almost the entire time. When we got to the last princess, Cinderella, Paige said something to me, I couldn't hear her so I leaned over and said, "What?" She then yelled, "I said, I'm ready to go home!"
She got to choose one toy and she chose the biggest Ariel magic wand that sings and lights up, I'll have to post a picture of it, it kept hitting everyone and was kind of creepy looking. Oh well, she loved it for an hour.

Paige with her cousins, Saydee on the left and Madison on the right. Madison is so great with all these little girl cousins she has. She is the only girl out of the older bunch and has had to contend with boys at Grandma's house for many years. Paige just loves her.

FHE at the Sky View Pool

Weston, Brant, and Paige waiting in line for their turn to shine. This is pretty much what they spend the entire time doing at the pool-- freezing to death, and jumping.

Weston and Paige jumping off the diving board, they have always been brave with the water. (My camera was on a weird setting I found out after, so they are not great)

Maizy and Paige

My friend Megan and her kids came to visit this week. This is Maizy who is betrothed to Weston, isn't she beautiful? We can't wait until they move back to Clarkston. She and Paige had a good time playing together.

Kirilenko

Weston got a haircut, or two. This first one is the before, he hates it long, but I love it. He begged me everyday to cut it and I kept telling him when it gets warmer. I had to finally give in because it obviously isn't getting any warmer.

Weston after his mom cut his hair, I just didn't want to see the curl over the ears go. I thought it looked okay, but his dad didn't. The front is a little questionable.

Weston after Angie cut it--much better, she was so nice to let us ALL come down and cut it last minute. He told her he wanted it like Kirilenko. He loves how it feels in the back. While he was getting it cut Angie's little boy, Jaxon, who is the same age as Weston went in and said, "It doesn't even look like Weston!"

This is the best baby entertainer in the world, he may take it a little far sometimes, but who could ask for better help! He is my; diaper taker, binky finder, baby bouncer, baby pusher, toy getter, and bottle tipper-- and rarely complains. And he does all this without taking his eyes off the television.

Mirror, Mirror

The babies love looking in this mirror, unfortunately I left it like this and Brant and Weston drove dumptrucks on it--it no longer looks like this!

Too Much Baby Equipment

We have a lot equipment in our house since having these babies: 2 jumpers, 3 bouncy seats, 1 walker, 1 saucer, 2 high chairs, and 2 swings. And yes, we have used it all. Sometimes Weston and Paige like to make good use of it. Here is Paige watching some cartoons.

Earlier this week Weston was scooting through the kitchen in the walker and he heaved the jumper that hangs in the doorway. Consequently, it hit Paige dead in the nose and she had blood dripping from both nostrils. Weston was so sad and sorry that he put himself in timeout. When we got it all plugged I came out of the bathroom and he had his nose in the corner. I felt bad that he was so sad about it, but it was
nice to see him care about his sister.
