Keep Scrolling...

Look out, I've done some major updating so make sure you keep scrolling to get in on our excitement around here. I've sworn off laundry during the twins' naps today, and am really feeling good about it.

We have some news to announce, NO, double NO (as Paige would say), to what you are thinking right now. Our news is a new job for Tyler, we have really been blessed and feel so grateful to have gotten this job. He got hired at Nucor Steel and starts on Nov. 10th, it will not be a huge change, but we feel like there is so much opportunity for growth at Nucor and they are such a great company to work for. Only a 15 minute commute during non-snow months over the mountain to work! Bad news for me is, bad cell-phone reception; he'll probably be glad for that one though.

I may not be posting for a while, so just know what I will be doing.

There is still more to come...
Feel free to stop by, it's bring your own rake:)

Pumpkin Carving

I know these pictures may bore you, but I always remember my dad taking pictures of this big event, so I have to get my camera out. In fact, Tyler actually got it out first which rarely happens around here unless he is making fun of my blog by saying, "Should we get a picture so we can blog it?" Rude. Anyway, Grandpa Frank would be proud of our jack-o-lanterns and the way Weston sticks out his tongue to concentrate. And if you think it looks unsafe for the twins to be on the table, it is because Owen soon found his head meeting the floor--I wonder who would have pushed him there????

Crazy Hair Days...

Weston and Paige both had "Crazy Hair Days" last week for school, we might be a little over the top, but doing hair for this day is the best day of the year for me.

Nothing much to post this week, except to show off the twins new matching church clothes. It is very hard to find matching things in boy and girl. I've got to try to dress them alike as long as they can have no say in the matter.

Hairstyling, what a good, drenched, sport.

Here's what Owen did with my best violet, I know, is there really a "best" violet? I might be the only person under the age of 70 that likes these things. While I was doing dishes he mutilated my favorite one, and then Paige said, "I'm sorry Mom, it was my fault. I forgot to push in my chair."

Happy Birthday Paige!

Princess cake makes a reappearance again this year, we will get our moneys worth out of those little figurines.

Grandma and Grandpa Buggy.

Rocking babies to sleep with Hali.

Our gaming pair.

Her best pal, Sasha, brought her over a new sassy outfit and matching nail polish.

Well, she is finally four! I can now legitimately say, "Act like a four year old!" But would I really say that? She had a great birthday, she got the movie Sleeping Beauty, a new pink and purple Leapster, and twin babies with pajamas and blankets made for them by Tiffany.

On Saturday Grandma Pat took us to lunch and took Paige shopping. She was so excited to pick out some "Little Pet Shops", her new favorite thing and a new shirt. On Sunday we had birthday dinner at the Godfrey's for the October birthdays, and then on Monday we had the Grandparents over. Three days of birthday is quite enough, I do believe.

Silly Sock Day at preschool today. (Watch out for Owen!)

A few of the twins' favorites...

These two are a whole different kind of handful lately. When they were born it was feeding and burping that kicked my butt, now it is knowing where they both are at all times and especially keeping track of them outside (where they prefer to be). When they do get into something, like markers, and I say "No, " it almost triggers a fast forward button in them and they both go faster and crazier at the mess they are making--needless to say, most days when they gang up on me like that I end up losing. But, two kisses are better than one and they are both very willing to give them. Here are some of their favorite things:

Kisses,

markers and messes,

tub time,

outside and swinging,

horses, horses, and Dad,

piano playing, especially if I'm giving a lesson,

last, but not least- the entertainment committee.
